Research Programs

Our active research areas — advancing sustainable materials across multiple disciplines.

science 01

Nature-based materials research

This research program focuses on the utilization and valorization of sustainable, underutilized, and abandoned natural resources to develop eco-friendly alternatives to everyday consumer products. Target applications include plastic packaging, membrane filtration systems, and other single-use or petroleum-based materials that pose significant environmental concerns.

Water and Environmental Remediation Materials

This research program focuses on the design, development, and application of sustainable materials for water purification, air quality improvement, and soil remediation. By leveraging natural, bio-derived, and recycled resources, we aim to engineer high-performance adsorbents, photocatalysts, and membrane systems that provide effective environmental remediation solutions while minimizing secondary pollution.

Green Construction and Building Materials

This research program is devoted to the development of low-carbon, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible building materials as alternatives to conventional construction products. By utilizing natural fibers, industrial by-products, and bio-based binders, we aim to create durable, high-performance construction materials that significantly reduce the environmental footprint of the built environment.
